micro iDSD dimensions= 6.22 inches L x 2.7 W x 1.1 H. But 184mm (7.24” L) with knobs.
So transportable between home or office, not small for mass transit commutes.

For small transportable I am awaiting Geek Stream or Oppo HA-2.

It seems to fit with your needs and, from what I've read in reviews, matches well with the LCD-X/Cs. I've auditioned HD800s on the Island and it was able to drive them quite well.

I've looked into the Island, but it doesn't fit my needs as it's not battery powered like the Geek Stream and Oppo HA-2.
