Let me start out by thanking the folks answering questions on this forum. Thanks to everyone here I am a very proud owner of the Audio Technica M50 and loving every second of it. I was originally planning on spending less than $100 on my first serious headphone purchase, but after reading so much about the 580 on here I stretched the budget.
OK now to the point. I am now looking for a pair of headphones for someone else and their budget is under $70. The CAL! Is now in that price range, and I know from a previous topic I made when I was originally looking for my own headphones that most think it was a good pick for under $100.
Is there a better headphone than the CAL! For under $70. The person will be listening to mostly mainstream rock, pop, and hip-hop.
