Get the NFB if you want serious bang for your dollar. You email them what you want, they give you a quote, and you then use Paypal. Ships that week. Seriously, between the two, there's literally no reason to get the M Stage.

I can't think of anything that can do what the NFB5 and NFB12 does for the price.

Ah, drat.  Cause I just bought an M-Stage for my K702.
 
How about a JDSLabs Objective2?  I'm getting my hands on one of those fairly soon, to compare to the M-Stage, then I'll keep the best and sell the other.  Again, for the K702
 
I prefer tubes however, and am continuing to shoot for a tube amp in an entry-level price range that will drive the K702 good enough for my iPod source.  Keep in mind before you suggest though, I may have a pauper's budget but I really have a prince's audio sensitivity!
