There's a girl. When I'm near her, when I talk to her, when I see her smile, my heart skips like crazy. I thought it was just a crush. But I see myself "with her", something that's never happened with anyone ever. My heart refuses to let go even though her's belongs to someone else. I am not on any drugs.

I can never steal someone from another. Even if you do, you will never trust them if you achieve them.

I wouldn't, I'd just wait it out and hope they don't last. (I know it sounds wrong)

Is this really love? Or have the years of loneliness and desperation finally taken their toll? Are my emotions sentencing me to death?

I know what you mean. That's one tough spot to be in. If you figure it out, tell me, I could use the advice.

Probably both, love and a death sentence. Just the cruel sense of humor life has.

For years, when I dated women, I would look at them and wonder to myself if I could ask them the big question. If I couldn't, I knew that ultimately they weren't for me. When I met my (now) wife, I knew within a week of having known here that I would marry her. The knowledge was bigger than myself, as if God had touched me with the tip of a finger and said "This is so." I thought I was crazy too.

Good things come to those who wait.

Oh, and a tip for the future, which you can prove yourself: The husband makes the marriage -- the wife will just be a (unclear) mirror of the husbands attitudes and behaviour, so working on yourself as a person is a very good idea.

Yes, and I was lucky enough to marry her.

Yes, quite wrong, and shame on you. Better to expedite things with a little Facebook sabotage, the digital equivalent of slipping a condom wrapper into his car.

I had similar experience towards a girl, except that in the end, she didn't break my heart to pieces, she grind my heart to powder and fed them to the dogs.
