So I recently bought the xb90ex which is a whopping 16mm, I have yet to receive them but I hear the bass and sub bass as well as the soundstage is incredible.

Now take a look at these:

They are 9mm, so can I assume a more relaxed and balanced sound from these? These are new so I am sure sony has refined these 9mm compared to past 9mm iem's.

Heck the re400 is only 9mm too right?

Driver size does not matter. Although bigger drivers push more air, it really comes down to the tuning.

Hmm I am curious about these sonys especially since it has a mic and controls which I have been spoiled by, they seem like basic headphones but its hard to really gauge what something like these would sound like, I guess I will just buy em and find out.
