Hi all

Question: Has anyone experimented with burning CDs specifically for use headphone listening (eg inclusion of crossfeed, added depth, etc) and possibly for a particular phone (eg adjusted frequency response to suit)?

If so, what tools do you use (eg Winamp's equalizer, Izotope's Ozone plugin) and what results have you achieved - is it worthwhile?

For portable use, I want to use backups of my better CDs - so I thought: why not go one step further and optimise the recording for my phones.

What are your thoughts?

Nic

I've been preaching and raving about this since about my 100th post

Search for EQ by Joe Bloggs and all the threads I started would be relevant to you

I find crossfeed to be something optional, actually. (I've got the crossfeed on my Porta Corda if I want it--so leaving it out on the CD gives me the option of having or not having crossfeed)

'and possibly for a particular phone (eg adjusted frequency response to suit)' is the most essential part for me, actually

Hmm, about to hit 1058 posts and just the 58 threads with posts about EQ by me--I must work harder

Seriously though--the threads with Thread Starter = Joe Bloggs would be more relevant
