Quite an interesting project - can someone, more experienced in audio engineering, comment whether this is snake oil or has real potential?

It's not really an audio engineering question and more about design at this time. Looks to be Chinese buds and drivers set up for replaceable cables. Goodness will be based on bits chosen and tune. Great idea for those that break a lot of cables but personally, I don't like how modular it is. 3 connections before you get to the DAP and what's probably a pretty heavy coupler makes it unique but I'd have preferred a continuous replaceable cable instead of all those bits and connections. They're certainly reasonably enough priced and appear to be a getting setup for direct sales.
