I have iriver u10 and it sounds very well even comparing to a ipod nano 1gen....
I have also a ipod shuffle 2gen but haven't heard it due to a faulty dock...

I was wandering one day if I want better sound quality in which brand player should I turn to? (a budget around 150$)

I heard the iriver u10 is better than the fuze. It was made when Iriver was using cirrus logic dacs a way better era compared to current iriver offerings. If you like the u10 you should look at the rest of irivers release during that era such as the e10 and 1st gen clix. I would also suggest hanging on to that u10.

I have a clix2 too and wondering about the fuze compared to it.do you think SQ of Fuze better than clix2?

I do think Fuze is slightly better in SQ when compared to clix2. The only downside (in comparison) is actually the screen, than again, nothing come close to clix2's AMOLED.

I used UM2 (one of the most sensitive IEM there is) with Fuze and didn't detect any hiss.

Hi, can you support this claim with a few arguments? Personally I find the Sansa to be not as special as pretty much everybody here seems to believe.

yeah well it could be a bit mor sturdy.. couldn't it?
also as I try to turn it off with one hand I have to be careful not to push the volume control on the other side. or get an unconfortable grip...
maybe just have to get used it as to everything....
