As far as I can see (4gb version 2.00us) there is no balance setting.
I stand to be corrected though.

yes, in windows or Vista.

From what I've read on the AnythingButIpod forums, the Clix is not UMS but MTP. If you don't know what UMS / MTP are, try wikipedia.

To drag-and-drop via Explorer, you need the latest MTP driver. This already comes bundled with with Vista and Windows Media Player 10 & 11. The driver is currently not available on it's own.

As long as WMP10+ is installed (WMP11 will be better), you can use other MTP supported softwares for sync, like winamp or mediamonkey.

You might want to wait a while as clix2 is coming out, may have UMS support.

(pic a bit grainy due to file size limitations on head-fi)

Also might watch out for E-Ink Reader by iRiver. I myself own a U10, compatible with Linux, ogg, wmv, avi, jpg, bmp, txt, fm-radio, flash. The iPod is nothing compared to this gadged.

I'm interested in how the Clix 2 compares to the D2 - I'm already considering a DAP upgrade for next year, and I've barely had my Clix 1 for a month...
