I have have a quick question (with some not so quick answers I bet

).

Is there any difference in sound quality between the 2nd Gen and 3rd gen Ipod nano's using the line out (all other things being equal)?

If so... could you describe the differences?

I was unable to hear any difference when I got my 3rd gen. I got the 3rd gen for larger capacity and the form factor was perfect to go with my Xin SuperMini amp. I did prefer the 3rd gen headphone out but the difference was very small as I remember.
