Honestly I dont know what kind of case I want. I was hoping I could get it intown (circuitciy, bestbuy, compusa, ect).

I am coming from an altoids case (zen microphoto) and its hard picking a type of case cause of that.

I wanted to get a full skin guard-like the screen protectors (not the silicon); do they make one for the Ipod classic (80gb)? Could I buy one intown? I thought about buying just big sheets of the static protectors but I want the sides to be protected aswell.

If this is not made yet (for the classic) or in-town. Then I need an alternative; what case are good that I can find intown? I want it to be as least bulky and noticable as possible. I just need scrach protection not dropping protection.

Thank You

I just bought the Treadz (in black) with the laminate that covers the whole face and a purple bandz (although you can't use the Bandz with the iMod...blocks the dock port), and got all three items for $14 (50% off sale), shipped to me in one day.

Checkitout:

Not sure if they ship to Mexico, though.

Monolith: Thanks for clearing that up; maybe they will believe me this next time!

immtbiker: Thanks for the advice! BTW I live in Nuevo México=New Mexico--A state of the USA (some people have actually told me that they didnt know that New Mexico is a state! lol)

Fatman711: They dont make a case for the 6G ipod; probably wont fit since that has to fit exactly.

I couldnt wait another day since I hate scratches. I bought the Belkin Brushed Metal Acrylic case at officemax. I like it. It slide in tightly (wide); but once I put the faceplate on I actually saw that the ipod (6G) is alittle thinner around the edges (if you push on the edges they will go in some; but you have to push them kindof hard).

Overall for a 5G case I was really impressed at how well it fit. Also it has a clear cover around the touchpad. While other case made the touchpad unusable (or so I have heard, with the 6G ipod); this one is a really thin cover it interfears alittle but diffinitly not bad at all (you have to put alittle bit more pressure). There is a hard plastic cover over the screen, which I really like since I didnt need to get a screen protector. Also the silver is a very dark shade-grey. Its darker than the amazon.com pictures, this compliments the black ipod 100%.

It is rated low in the only 2 reviews at amazon. But if you look at the other colors you will see that overall its actually very highly rated.
Here it is ($30@circuitcity, $20@officemac):

EDIT: Looks like amazon is selling that case though different sellers; more reviews and picture here:

Wow...It's about time that they moved New Mexico back into the US. Now if we can only work on Baja California

I am going caseless. The screen of the classic is made of the same scratch resistent "optical grade glass" that was used on the iPhone. Why put a cheap plastic cover over such a nice screen? I mean your case will get scratched easier than the actual screen of the iPod.

I am willing to accept the fact that the back of the iPod WILL get scratched. I am ok with that.
