I highly recommend Max for ripping those CD's. Then either let Max add them to you iTunes library, or manually add them.

I have almost 2 TB of music in iTunes, all of it ripped using just the stock itunes application w/ apple lossless. I have played around with others and they all sound the same and iTunes just makes it so easy.

I am not saying Max (or others) won't work or that it may have some minor advantages, but if you are looking to do a massive re-rip just use itunes and spend more time enjoying the music.

2TB? geez how big are your HDs in terms of itunes player there are minor differences i found, iTunes seems not as clear for all files less detailed. Could vary between setups
