iPod 5g vs. 5.5g

Are there any sound quality differences between the 5th generation and 5.5th generation iPods?

as I recall, the 5.5g was just a higher capacity version of the 5g. No difference

4G photo or possibly 1G shuffle.

Serious? I thought the 4Gs were bass roll-off kings? I had a B&W 4G and those had a noticeable roll-off.

I think the iPods that had the best sound quality (from the line out) were the 4g and 5/5.5g iPods.

yes, thats simply what i believe from listening to all models apart from the new classics

i dont know whether your black and white 4G, if the DAC is any different to the 4G photo as i specified?
