Those measurements are totally insignificant. The actual sound those numbers represent is identical.

You are right, But I would like to add in one factor: the compensatory periphery circuit design is also important. Or every player with the same model of chip will have the same sound signature. Definitely not. Many brands share the same chip, but the sound is very different. I have noted that AMP3 applied the Sigmatel 3710 chip as many player used, but the sound of AMP3 is miles far better then else.
