Ok, i mainly listen to music from my iPhone (E11 + DT770 80ohm). I always listened to my music with my equalizier set to "off", with this setting, almost all songs were horrible to listen after like 60-70% of the volume. Also with EQ off i didnt notice that much of a bass that 80 ohm version famous for. Today tried some different settings and stopped at "loud" - sound became a bit quiter (not the bass) and much more gentle, and i easily turned my amp to 100% volume without any pain in my ears. What EQ do you guys use? And the main question is - was the "off" mode the natural sound of my cans and other modes give me "artificial" sound? I connect my iPhone through LOD cable not the stock one.
