Hi, I've heard people say that the iphone 5s has better sounding quality than old gen iphones. And it also has better sounding quality than Ipod nano. Which means iphone 5s now can plays decent sound out of it? Anyone please give me an idea. I might going to get one 5s next month, just wanna to know should i get the 32gb to use it as mp3 player.

If you are listening to MP3 or Apple lossless files the iPhone 5s is a great digital audio player. The improved sound quality is also due to iOS 7 which now allows for digital line out via a camera kit USB. Here is a review of the iPhone 5 from Ken Rockwell. http://www.kenrockwell.com/apple/iphone-5/audio-quality.htm.

I used to use my iPhone 5 but unfortunately that was before I got into this crazy audiofile world and I quickly ran out of space with only 16GB. I had to buy an iPod touch 64GB to accommodate the lossless files.
