Anyone know if apple chose the same from CL or like the rumors where saying a return to the Wolfson family has happened?

No tear down and BOM analysis ahs been done yet. So no one knows.
 
wait for ifix or the other sites to tear iphone 5/touch down.

Apple 338S1117 is the name of the chip. Doesn't seem to be a Wolfson
Nonetheless, excited for tomorrow gotta try out the earpods. I'm really curious about the fit

I'm holding off getting one -till I hear somepositive opinions though as I use my Iphone 4 a lot for multi-media - and I love the SQ it has - and would not like to go backwarrds

I expect the same from the new ipod touch...
Its going to be a Sammy with Wolfson and voodoo...
I only hope that the galaxy player 5.8 comes with a Wolfson like it's smaller brother, the 4.2 and not like the 5.0 that carry an yamaha CODEC.

I don't really notice a difference in SQ. The only thing I can hear (and I may be imagining this) is a slightly fuller sound from the iP5. I tested this using my Vsonic GR07
