I actually don't use iCloud to do backups since you only get 5GB of storage. I'd rather use that for other things.
I thought you did a full factory restore before and it still don't work.

The 5GB is not what you think it is. You will never ever fill up the 5GB of storage. The 5GB is not for music, photos. The apps are all stored in the cloud but only a map of what you've purchase is retained so that you can redownload them at any time. The only thing that goes to the 5GB is your mail with the .me extension (an Apple mail account you have to set up, and can never change, so choose your name wisely), documents you've created in Pages or Keynotes, and your contacts. That's it. Maybe your operating system settings too.
A tablet that gets up to 116 degrees and pops up with an error message where it has to shut down and cool is not normal. A tablet that won't stay fully charged at 85% - 100% brightness when plugged in is not normal. Every Apple release has problems, and every single time Apple denies any problems for a good amount of time before they concede there were issues. MacBooks have chargers with 4 times the power output that they use. Why does the new iPad have a charger that only outputs 2.1 amps when the new iPad draws up to 5 amps? Anyone could see the obvious problem here. Apple can argue this until they're blue in the face but it's a defective product anyway you look at it.
Have you clicked on this thread and read it yourself?
I tested mine streaming video in high quality mode from a Slingbox at 100 percent and it charged the battery.Right. Let's just bash Apple.
My iPad is charging currently @ 100% brightness. Have you purchased an iPad and experienced this yourself?
On a side note. Does anyone know if there's a way to access audio files on some sort of storage device via the camera connection kit?
