Didn't see a forum for new people, but feel free to move if I wasn't looking hard enough! Long flight coming up soon so I've been lurking. The Beats Wireless I inherited are terrible and currently residing on eBay. Thankfully they're popular, because it looks like I'm pulling a profit on the Audio-Technica ATH-M50S and FiiO E6 combo. Sound is coming from lossless tracks on an iPhone 5. $145 with 1-day shipping vs whatever Beats cost these days. I only have about 12 hours from the time they reach the office until its time to head out. Will the tissue box method and pink noise session do me any good?

I look forward to hanging around here and spending too much money for a long time!

Good to see a fellow head-fier getting rid of the beats, they are terrible. 
 
Just enjoy the music regularly with your new headphones, burn-in with pink noise is optional.

As discussed recently in other threads, burn-in is mostly your ears getting accustomed to the sound rather than a metaphysical change in the driver diaphragm or voice coil etc.
 
Much like someone getting accustomed to the taste of new exotic foods.
