  Anyone using the MUSES02 op amp full time?  Local stock is available thinking about giving them a try.

I did , but my favorite OP is AD827SQ now . I had tried stock Muses 8820 , 8920 , Muses01 and Muses02 , then LME49990MA and AD827SQ  ; Muses series all gave me hissing and sounds not too clear . LME49990MA came with more pure and clean sound . As for AD827SQ , it sounds like LME49990MA and Muses02 combination for me . Pure , clean and powerful without lost any detail .
 
My next target will be OPA627SM , it should sound great as well .

Looks like the 4 x opa627 eat a lot  - around 5 hours only.
 
Well, I got used to Vantam's 4-5 hours but expected more than this..

I pulled the trigger and got a pair of MUSES02 last week and it's been very good out of the the balance output.  Better separation and less sibilance with the treble compared to the stock, also less lush and warm (but still on the warm side).  Inexpensive but worthy upgrade over the stock IMO, though sucks down more power.
