I saw the specification as 50ohms minimum for TA-66. Cannot remember where.

That's even better. I saw a review of TA-66 from Reviews By WaveTheory today, and he mentioned 80 ohms as the lowest.
He said really good things about TA-66.
I will try Fostex T50rp50th (50ohm) with the TA-26S; Fostex T50RP50th are really power-hungry.

Fostex T50RP 50th is not good with TA-26S; there is a lot of distortion.

I listened before TA-26S got warm, but I doubt it would be much better after it gets warm.

I was wondering...how long is it okay to keep a tube amp on running?
Is there a limit to be sure it won't degrade the amp or tubes?
4-6-8-10 hours?

I used to have the Darkvoice 336SE and acquired a lot of tubes for tube rolling. The TA-66 got me very interested.
Could someone confirm if I am safe to use the tubes I had for my Darkvoice on the TA-66?

I will expand on the question:

What can happen if you use a tube you are not supposed to use?
It won't work. Will it provide bad sound...or can it cause permanent damage to the amplifier?

Any news on TA-66 shipments? I ordered one a month ago from Apos, but the date was pushed back twice and wonder if affects my order or just new orders.

I wonder if there's a delay on Xduoo's end related to it, though it'd be weird considering they just announced and will be shipping a new dac/amp soon.

Really excited to get my first OTL amp. The wait is excruciating, lol.

Yup, they delayed (Audiophonics/EU) mine again for another month...and unfortunately, I cancelled the order.

I have TA-26S, and it's good enough for me.
Especially after I cancelled the order, I swapped DACs and paired TA-26S with a better DAC.

That was crucial.

And that really improved the sound from "It's good but not for everything"...to, it's really good for everything!
I'll keep my eye on the comments and the progress of TA-66.
