Introducing the ALO Rx AMP

Hey Ken one of the head-fiers who cracked open his Amp to check the gain said he was set to the higher gain by default should we open it up once just to verify that it is on the right gain?

That is odd, I think its totally fine to check just use caution when putting the screws back on and not over tighten. By the way thanks for asking!

Hi Ken, a question concerning the RX.
I use it with my imod and Pvcaps.
Sound is wonderfull.
I wonder if the amp have soon caps in the signal path ?
Does i need use Pvcaps or may i can plug my Imod directely ( without take some risk) ?
If there is some caps inside to bloc DC, is it possible to mod it for bypassing the cheap caps and have the best sound possible with this GREAT amp.
Thank you.

HI Rico67

Yes your going to have to use the P-Vcap dock OR a cable with the black gate caps in the signal path before going to the Rx amp.

Cheers

Would there be any chance of seeing graphs of the Rx's THD, IMD, noise, channel separation and frequency response when driving something like a 30 Ohm load? Like, RMAA measurements?
