It's like Sony disguised an MD player in one of those expensive liquor flasks you put in your coat chest pocket. It reminds me of Brancusi's "Bird in Space." A really beautifully crafted piece of metal that just magnetizes envious stares. Sure does look like a $1900 player. Geez, what would happen if you lost that on the street!

the player it self weighs 244g, the remote is no lighter than a mz-e10.

There is no exact description about the charging stand. But it's definitely much, much heavier than the player itself!!! 500g, more or less, I guess.
