Introducing HIFIMAN Ananda Nano

When we could begin to talk about EQ? The sound profile can be improved, not the headband xD
I've sent my pair to Sonarwork for individual calibration at the beginning of this month and the correction over 4khz is pretty radical.

As a result, the whole balance become extremely detailed and doesn't tilt toward an edginess anymore. The bass correction is also significant without being over the top like a lot of Dynamic drivers and again, it brings a whole other dimension in that frequency range.

I was also very surprised to see that they have a completely flat phase response across the whole range. I've never seen that in any headphone so far.

Omg I want it,
As I cannot give you the headphone profile they gave me, I recreated (roughly) the profile I got from mine :

EDIT: I forgot to mention that this is the correction profile. Not the actual measurement.

mmmmm... Only 6 days... Interesting, maybe I will send it!
You should try to use the correction profile I did before sending them and see if you like the profile.

Equalizer APO will let you do just that for free.

Sonarwork is pretty far from the Harman Curve therefor there is a substantial amount of lows and highs that will be ''missing'' in comparison.

Yes, but I can't know what numbers I should set in each band with your screen, maybe some approximated but never accurate.

Yes, but I can't know what numbers I should set in each band with your screen, maybe some approximated but never accurate.

Try that and make sure to lower your digital output by -6db:

LSC 24 dB Fc 40 Hz Gain 3 dB
PK Fc 95 Hz Gain -4 dB Q 2
PK Fc 93 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 7
PK Fc 175 Hz Gain 2.5 dB Q 3
PK Fc 550 Hz Gain 1.5 dB Q 5
PK Fc 740 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 9
PK Fc 970 Hz Gain 1.5 dB Q 12
PK Fc 2000 Hz Gain 3 dB Q 3
PK Fc 2900 Hz Gain 6 dB Q 2
HSC 6 dB Fc 4000 Hz Gain -8 dB

Take good notes that the first and last filter are respectively a Low Shelf Filter with a 24 db slope and a High Shelf Filter with a 6db Slope.

Those are approximate but will bring you in the ballpark so you get a better idea of the Sonarwork rendering and if it is for you or not.

EDIT: I just made some correction.

How I can set the 24 db and 6 db Slope? I don't see it :(

Done! Thank you, the first impression with this equalizer is that it seems more balanced and the voices improved, but I think I lose details, on the other hand, it fatigues my ears less. I'll keep trying different songs.
