I would like to hear from you what your experience is with the P6ProTi99 and STORM combination.
Have any of you tried running STORM with the Ti99? I would like to hear about your impressions.
Thanks!
The LP6 couldn't drive STORM properly according to BGGA.

Thank you for the provided information!

But. ... I am rather interested in your personal experience than what you guys have read about.

I am also thinking about getting either Storm or Supreme V3 for my ti99, so would like to hear from someone who has experience.
I am not sure if I am getting best synergy with jewel+orpheus at the moment. What's your thought on Storm @gryphonos since you have it?

Unfortunately, my listening time with STOM driven by ti99 was rather short until today, because two other iem, first of all Prestige Ronin and then Trailli were dominating my listening experience with ti99 and both of them are as well dominating the ranking of the achieved sound quality in combination with it99.

In order to be able to make more reliable statements about the sound characteristics of the STORM with ti99 pairing, I will probably need some additional time. My early impressions besides the sufficient volume levels with volume setting 15 which I have mentioned earlier in this thread are that ti99 is able to make the STORM sing, not on a huge stage but rather with a smaller staging, which reflects a more intimate sound presentation. ti99 allows STORM to still sound dynamically, highly resolving and not too referency. In summary I am satisfied and I like what I have heard so far. The stage size that STORM can present depends on the size of the dap, the power of the amp section of the dap respectively. Further listening impressions will follow.

Spending some time with the LP6 TI AE and the UM Mest Mk3 over lunchtime. I do appreciate the upgraded pentiometer. Much easier to with work with more sensitive IEMS because of closer control over volume now.

My complete setup with P6pro & Madoo typ821 (tweaked). The best sound in IEM I've ever heard.
I saw your typ812 modification (thank you). I'm on my replacement unit which sadly has developed very loose connection. I've tried going through the dealer but they aren't any help. Can I ask who modded your unit?

The flickering screen and when playing DSD file, the sound scatters.
I have the same issue and I suspect that's related to the microSD card formatting, it happens to me several time after transferring new songs to the card, but for my case, I can resolve the issue via restart the machine or formatting the card.

I've seen the similar behavior after transferring the new files (DSD or even flac). The issue can be resolved with restart as you've explained. What's really annoying me is that with 1TB sd card, the player gets stuck once in a while, especially while skipping tracks multiple times. This could be a result of lack of buffer for file indexing. The workaround is to press power button for 20 sec and then another 20 seconds to bring the player back up (all done while I have blank screen but always works). LP also told me their maximum file indexing is only up to 12K tracks so hopefully they can bring this up to at least 20K tracks soon.

My friend soldered the wiring. I am sure that any specialist who knows how to solder cables can handle replacing the wires inside the IEM. These IEMs are very easy to disassemble, and all contacts are within easy reach.
