Anyone know if the track limit of the pro has been fixed yet?

I think I read much earlier in the thread that the regular P6 had a firmware update to raise the track limit to...10,000?

I'm around 5,000 tracks so I can't confirm if that's the case for the Pro's default firmware or not. I do hope L&P releases some firmware updates, as there are some weird things with the media library. Thankfully my folder structure was great before getting the P6 Pro, so navigating around is fine using that.

That is another big excuses for sure! This is not the first time I see a slightly changed up internal and with different firmware to elevate and or make the sound different.

It especially made senses when it is discrete R2R.

I wanted to upgrade to Pro, but considering how poor the after market experience dealing with LP was, not mention lack of gapless playback, I stopped myself from doing so.
I was about to buy the P6 Gold too, but didn't for the same reason.

P6 is an interesting device, I give them that much.

Agreed! Can’t go with horrible sale services for sure. I had the same reasons here
