LP7 first or R2R module for the E7?Interesting that this topic should come up. Was communicating with Wan last night and this question came up. Release date for the LP7 is likely to be late 2023 or early 2024.![]()
We didn't discuss the ETA for the next modules for the E7.LP7 first or R2R module for the E7?

My player keeps freezing and blacking out during the library scanning process and I have to hold the power key down for a minute to re-boot it. Once it loads there is nothing under "artist" "album" etc. but I can still access my files through the directory mode. Any idea what could be causing the problem

Do you have enoygh spare space on the card? If you are under a gig free or so this can cause issues
Also possible you have a folder or album with some funkey naming. Honestly wouldn't be too surprised if LP didn't propped sanatize inputs.
I assume you formatted your card in player. What brand card did you use? I tried an off brand that worked in my AK but the LP had issues with it. Fixed my issue with a Samsung card.My player keeps freezing and blacking out during the library scanning process and I have to hold the power key down for a minute to re-boot it. L&P daps are picky about microSD cards, need to be formatted fat32, and probably better to use SanDisk or Samsung. Or is this issue related to scanning internal storage?
Also, when you add files to internal storage or microSD card, L&P daps will be displaying them in order of added date from older to newer, not alphabetical order, unfortunately. So, you will need to use a util like Stereo USB sorter to "fix" this.

I've pretty much given up trying to sort it out. I loaded the SD card originally last night and the player scanned it fine. Then I plugged the card into my computer, deleted some folders and then copied them over in a more systematic way in order to improve the layout on the player. This is when the player started to freeze mid-scan. My suspicion is that I'll need to reformat the card entirely and copy everything over again to make it work. At the moment I can't be bothered to do that because "directory mode" works just fine and I think I can get by just using that...it's amazing how much snappier it is to browse by directory in other players. I have my music reallly well organized in folders so I'm not really missing much right now in terms of organizational functionality.
I've been listening for the last few hours and am absolutely blown away by this player.

Known for that amazing sound, and also known for that wonky UI!I've pretty much given up trying to sort it out. I loaded the SD card originally last night and the player scanned it fine. What kind of battery life should I expect? Seems to be going down quite rapidly.

LP6 Ti will be with me next weeks. Thank to this thread I finally can get my hand on this expensive DAP. Hope this is the good upgrade from DX320.
SQ should be a definite upgrade. Features, maybe not. No one can match L&P sound, at least that's a general consensus, and also correct IMHO!LP6 Ti will be with me next weeks. Thank to this thread I finally can get my hand on this expensive DAP. Hope this is the good upgrade from DX320.
