Well after 12 hours of driving I'm in Nashville and ready to sleep. If I can do anything to help Ray out let me know. I'm not real familiar with the city but I've got family and friends here who know their way around.

A small suggestion for the initial setup: Each person set up their equipment as a single listening station. For the first couple hours we'll sample the goods in their "home" environment at a leisurely pace. Then once everyone has a feel for the equipment we can begin to mix and match for comparisons or just curiosity.

I ended up bringing my Sony SACD player, the MPX3, and my HD650. I have lots of SACD's to try out with this setup.

Also with me is the Marantz 1060b integrated amp. I kind of want to do some listening on it with Grados/Allesandros since I've been looking for a more rock friendly setup.

I'm impatiently awaiting the box from Channel Islands. I think I'll go pick up one of those 60 dollar Toshibas to use with the DAC from them and keep the prototype amp with the DAC. As far as phones maybe we can put some extra Senns on them (595's are in abundance and might be a good match). The Toshiba will be returned before I leave for Florida

That's my ideas for now. What's the word on Ray? When's his flight in, and did he get reservations?
