Got this from a web site full of ignoramus' that think only an idiot would pay 3,300 for a pair of great, great, headphones.. This was in 05.. & was sold by audiocubes..

Well, if you do go to the 010 page, it has a slide that shows a cut out view of one of the earcups and the special properties of its magnet.

Nice. I do have a question though. What the hell is the point having a frequency response above 25khz? I never get that, but 120khz? What? Why?

All signals traverse a single diaphragm. Vibrations/sound in the upper register affect sound in the lower register. These were designed to go with SACD systems which produce sound beyond 100kHZ, naturally they would need to accurately portray signals across the entire spectrum.
