Does anyone know if it's possible to get a 3.5mm inline boom mic, like the v-moda or antlion (it doesn't have to be world beating though), but without the cable attached, so it just slots into one connection of my headphones, then I can just plug the normal y-cable into that and into my source? It doesn't even need to have a volume control.
I just want something tidy for gaming, without having 2m of cable all over me or looped up.
Like the attached photo, cut off at the red line with an input instead
(The reason for this is my headphones, HiFiMan Sundara have a left/right connection, rather than just at one side)
