Hi
I have headphones for my TV with a hearing distance of 50m or so.  I work alot in the yard and want to be able to hear the news ect at about 100 m plus.  How do I increase the hearing distance from 50m to 150m or so.
Thanks ahead of time
Lyle

Would a small portable radio (dab or fm) not be better and easier under the circumstances?

Even In Ear Stage Wireless Monitor Systems only go to 30 metres. I think what you're asking is not possible, not without using several boosters chaining the signal together which would be outright expensive. As much you enjoy listening to TV, I think you'll be better of purchasing a Sansa Clip+ on your shorts or pants. 150 metre's is a massive distance to transfer such a signal. I just don't see any cheap option on pushing it that far....

What you want to look for is something like this.....

http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&ved=0CC4QFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.musiciansfriend.com%2Fpro-audio%2Fgalaxy-audio-as-900-wireless-personal-monitor-system&ei=CmB5UNiOGumSiQeVn4DADA&usg=AFQjCNFPbW86kpKdwMk-KJp6KG08syoECQ&sig2=Gvo9gjqiawTJonLUBrkCKg

It's not cheap though and I'm not entirely sure on their maximum distance on certain models. (you'd have to research that)

I still think a Clip+ would be a better option.
