So the device doesn't dry things, but the consumable silica packs do? Or it has some kind of pressure/heat setup?
The silica packs absorb the moisture and there is a fan that blows a mild amount of heat inside the (box). There is also a uv light that kills germs on/in the iems. It all works together with a pretty nice end result. It brought my iems all the way back and I can honestly hear the (what) after break in.

I would like to replace the original cable of the IMR ACOUSTIC HALCYON. Can you recommend some cables? To connect with iBasso220max. So a balanced 4.4mm cable Thank you

I am using a low profile Linum-Estron SuperBax cable. It is 2 pin connector is small enough to fit inside the Imr sockets despite the notch on the imr end.

Well it is kind of an overkill premium cable by a professional company guarantees the resistance spec of the cable. If money is no concern it is a perfect good cable.......but I am sure there are ChiFi cables that can do the same for less. It won't do anything magical, but it will guaranteed it will not be the weakest link in your chain if audio......and it is low profile and subtle looking.

I am using a Fiio LC-RE and I am very comfortable with this cable. The acoustic performance of the halcyons is also slightly improved compared to the stock cable and also...swappable audio plug. :k701smile:

Since the latest IMR IEMs are very scalable and with your MAX you could consider this cable which I feel could brings all the tasty dishes to your dinner table.

Most of my raw premium diy cables were purchased from this AE site, and were not in their IEM cable range.
I bet you are confused now with all the suggestions...lol.

:nerd:🚪can I come in now? I have a ticket to what you all are talking about? :relaxed: oh thanks! oops, excuse me, pardon me, oh is that seat taken? 😎

well I happened on an adventure, and came back with sets of the PB1, and the Halcyon, Thanks to Sisco! and with his wonderful connections in the transportation industry, they took 3 days to get to me from Spain?

and they are nice, just what I was hoping for, an immersive SS that I could further enjoy Bob's HS even more than I do with the Aten and Red? and like always Bob is spot on and not disappointing, very very nice step up form the prior,

paired with my HP-V1 + ZOv1 played off of my iPod + Therom dac = wow, they were nice without the ZO, but out of curiosity I turned it on, not that I needed more bass, but it added some awesome acoustics/holographics to the SS, that I didn't expect, talk about a stack to carry around in a portable rig? but I will 😈

it is pretty amazing how well these respond to different types of input, from a different ear tip, cable, player, amp, you name it these a very very versatile! I am jamming to the PB1, but was taken to the Halcyon at first, and probably will be, but the PB1 has ALOT to offer also, and right now I am enamored!

I think the Penon Leo Plus pairs very well with the Halcyon out of a DX220. I'm sure they do it in 4.4.

I've ordered ISN AG8 in 4.4 on sale from AE for my PB1 and semper when it arrives. £137 seemed reasonable to give it a try. Have my eye on Leo plus and possibly Penon GS849 if I hear good things with the thick silver cable.
