I got the Enigma+ today. So far I'm liking what I'm hearing. Better resolution and bass texture compared to Seraph+. The treble seems to have a good extension too and it has a tad warmer tonality. Not a particular good pairing with the Enleum, too boomy but it sounds great with the PB5.

Im trying to get the best fit with tip rolling but I'm not happy with the fit, as expected. The nozzle has the same old design and angle which is not comfortable for me. Probably I'm just too used to CIEMs right now. STORM is a much bigger IEM and the fit is secure and comfortable. I can get any of the that with Enigma+. The OG EDP was the best IMR regarding fit. I regret selling it.

Quick question for the cable experts.
How would the Enigma sound with the eros s 8w ?
Currently using the ea code 23 which is too bassy.
Getting an eros s for 200 usd.
Would be grateful for any pointers.

All I can say is choose a cable wisely as an aftermarket one can sound the same, enhance the sound or make an earphone virtually unlistenable.

If you want less bass and mid frequencies to sound a little drier on the Enigma, then your choice is Eros.
If you want slightly muffled highs and a lot of bass, then Ares 8W is your choice. And Cadmus is the golden mean. I choose Cadmus 8W for Enigma.

This is to my ear when I listen to these three cables on the Enigma. I listen to this on magenta filters + Coreir BRASS tips

With other IEMs they sounded different. I liked Eros on FIR Xenon6.

Thank you. I actually do want slightly less bass on the enigma.
I went ahead with the Eros S let's see how it sounds.
Corier was a disaster for me.
I lost all treble with those tips. 😭

Although I have now started listening to Enigma+ with purple filters, Coreir BRASS attachments and an Eros cable, and after a while I’m starting to like it, I think my brain and hearing are starting to adjust :)
