I'd love to hear a comparison between Ozar, BC2023, and Meze Advar if anyone has them.

Love my Advar. It's the only single DD I've found that doesn't smear details in fast passages. And the timbre is really top notch. If only it had IMR-level bass it would be perfect.

Be interesting to hear what you think of Rah '23, it's larger sounding, brighter with more airiness imo (compared to EDP Ace). Fit isn't great though.

Probably not going to happen, unless someone sends me one to review.

e faced lies....Vranyo....in Russian. Some people box themselves into 'story telling'. Doesn't mean they are not likeable and they should still be treated kindly. But for customers to be gullible fools is silly. IMR tell fairy tales.
We've got way more words to say Враньё.

Regarding IMR orders:
Bob mistook something for sure at the moment of planning orders, time managing and shipments. There are a lot of factors played against him as well. But I can't ignore that he was always extremely gentile in the way I have never met before.
However, in 2021 when I ordered my first IMR directly from the site, Royal Mail couldn't find out my parcel for more than one month, so Bob send me another pair of Elan. At the end of the story both parcels have arrived, so I send the second back. Saying this, Bob did everything to guarantee my customers satisfaction. Every item I've ordered from him after that episode has arrived, not at the date I hoped, but I've got them and enjoyed pretty much. He also send us some gifts when we pre-ordered Avalon, because of their delays.

Mostly, with major businesses, we would not accept how IMR do business. It is a very flawed way of doing business. But like everything in life things are more complicated. A lot us are willing to accept Bob's business model because his IEMs are the best to listen to, sound wonderful and eventually do, after many dramas, arrive. Plus Bob is human and fallible like all of us, so it's good to be compassionate. I really wish more people could get to listen to his IEMs, maybe with Penon now selling them (if Bob can make enough units)...maybe that will happen. There are certain IMR IEMs that have no need to be made in such small quantities and should be always in the IMR catalogue...and always available. I would love IMR to reach many more audio lovers.

The only Hificompanys I bought from and got absolutely zero problems with were "Nubert" and "Hifigo". All the other I tried had problems with their delivery (time frame or item was damaged or both). This includes shenzenaudio, linsoul and even nt-golbal (one of FiiOs official European resellers). Some have very interesting Businessmodells like nt-global who sell IEMs without the 14-day return option with a shady argument to evade the granted customer right of that 14-day return policy.
So yes, Bobs business behaviour would not stand the market in a large scale but there are nearly no companies that do it all right.
For me, it looks like Bob cares more for the happiness of his customers than for their money. And that, you can't say about a lot of audio companies.

At least ordering stock seems to work out totally fine. I had ordered 3 IMR lately and I have meanwhile received all 3 in due time. The only short delay resulted from Royal Mail being a bit lame. Besides Bob shipped in a manner that there were no problems with customs too. Happy customer on my behalf...

One of my all-time favorite musicians. I saw him back in the 90s AFAIR just weeks before he died on stage in Japan. During the concert he gave me high fives a couple times while continuing to play with his other hand ... I'll never forget those moments.
