I have not sorry, no Acoustone experience at all.
Personally, after thinking about it, I have decided to wait quietly until the ACE arrives without consulting the follow-up much.
It is true that Bob could improve communication but on the other hand the result is always very satisfactory.
Also, it is always good to support small businesses.
All this does not mean that next time Bob should improve his deadlines and communications. In this way we would all win, both the company and the users.

He has the chance to show some improvement quit soon with the EH shipment. This boxes are even bigger and if he still uses the ”tiny post office” it`ll show that he is just stupid or doesn’t care about his customers/service att all.

DM and Ozar seem to keep improving , though both must be way past 500hrs.
Honestly, I have no problem if he is late with the shipments, but Bob needs to be honest and tell us the truth. I can accept whatever he says to justify the delays. What I don't like is that he lies every time about everything and keeps us waiting for something that hasn't been shipped or maybe even manufactured. Improving the communication is a first good step, but being honest and share good and bad news is more important

Layering is more pronounced, clearer instrument separation, more texture and detail on instruments especially percussion, larger stage more height, not as closed in. I want to listen to these now where before I didn't think they were anything special considering the cost.

Thanks...interesting. I mentioned before I think I need another 1-200 hours on them. Hard to explain but I feel they can be quite dynamic. Not a bad thing but I am interested in how the stiff drivers work later on in their life

One thing I should've added - I switched to high gain, listening at low volume. Usually high gain on iem's sounds shouty/forced after a while but I haven't noticed that with the DM's.
If you will have an opportunity to take Elan, catch it. With relatively small investment it's a huge upgrade. If you like intimate mids and well defined treble it's probably your cup of tea.
I'm listening now Avalon with Satin Audio Medusa II pure silver cable on ibasso dx312 with spiral dots (Black&red filters). The sound is a bit warm. Nice punchy sub bass, slightly less mid bass compared to the pro cable. Super clear mids and vocals with a lot of reverberations and layers. Treble are a bit warm and maybe wet, not as crisp as they are on ozar, but lovely to listen. Cool upgrade. I'm looking forward to listening ace with this cable. 3D imaging is also increased, some sort of sorcery was added with this cable.
