I have an itch to buy some new cans and amp and I am 90% sure I'll be going to CanJam but, having never attended before, I was wondering if that's the kind of show where you can actually buy things and take them home the same day - as opposed to just auditioning and, perhaps, being able to place order.

In other words, does CanJam enable silly impulse, on the spot, purchases

?

Any stories from bringing home gears from CanJams past?

I went to the first inter-national thingy in NYC, and I remember people selling and trading equipment. I personally bought a pair of Ultrasones from their creator.

You should be able to pick up some used gear there. If the DXC Store shows up (and I hope they will) you might be able to buy something on the spot or pick it up at the store during the weekend.

Depending on how job offers (or lack thereof) pan out for after graduation, I may be able to attend this event. Lets hope I find out soon.
