Hi All, I have a problem I was hoping someone on the forum will be able to help / provide feedback on.

I own a Marantz SR4600 receiver and listen to a lot of music, movies and gaming through headphones. The receiver is good enough for my requirements (and I want to keep it) but it has limited equalization options - just bass and treble buttons. These work OK with the external speaker set up I have, but when it comes to listening on the headphones it's not enough, especially not enough bass when listening to music.

The headphones are pretty basic - Sennheiser RS 120's - and I know I'm going even more basic with wireless - but they're much more practical for me.

My question is what are my options to improve the bass through to my headphones?

I'm also thinking of upgrading to Sennheiser RS 180's, which should improve the sound but it would be nice to have more equalization options.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
