I have finaly discover than i can listen high definition audio with my Imod by using Rockbox.
So I have test it with 24 bit 96 Khz files and all is perfect in different format 'ALAc-AIFF-Wave.
But it seems than DVD audio have a "magical protection to avoid rip".
So i use DVD fab first to make a clean copy without protection from my audio dv, and then use DvdAexplorer to rip the file in an audio forma (wave).
It seems ok, but some files keep there protection.
Have you another way to process ?
Thanks.

All the iPod (with rockbox) does is downsample to 16bit (not sure of the frequency) so you might just be hearing a placebo.
I am yet to understand if downsampled 24bit music sounds the same as 16bit so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Thank you for the answer.
It's strange because the wolson internal dac is ok for 24 bit and 96 kHz.
Why, rockbox downsample the music to 16 Bit ?
not a lot of infomation about it on the web.

If someone know how avoid limitation protection on dvd audio it'll be great.
Some tracks give noise or white noise...
