Dear all, im looking for the schematics or someone who has a an spare iMod Cable for a bypassed iPod 5.5 G.
Some years ago these were produced by Alo Audio but not anymore.
I would try to do the cable by myself if I had an idea how the schematics were.
Do you happen to have one and can explain what it consist of?
I would really appreciate.

Thanks so much for the answer, I had almost given up. I did open the iPod and took a look at the Wolfson schematics. I did manage to identify the output of the DAC. But from there to built a iMod I am still far. I tried to find one for sale (in which case I would like to build my own anyhow) but the seem extinct. Id appreciate any help

hello, im coming back to this and I am now about to buy the forza cables (finally)
before I do that, I wonder if you are aware of any alternatives and most importantly, do you have an original redwine imod to compare to?

I have a few iMod cables.

My first was a Moon Audio Blue Dragon? I think.
It stopped working, so bought a second hand ALO iMod cable.
That was much better. But it now cuts out as well.

Managed to find some ALO iMod cables online, either here or eBay.
Bought one for my iMod, and also one without caps for my DIYMod.
Keep searching. They do come up for sale.
