Hey, my brother just got a new stereo system in his car and wanted to try out some really bass-heavy/illegal bass songs that I had. Unforunately they were on my Karma and I sold it. So, does anybody here have any true illegal bass songs? I forgot what the songs were called, all I remember were things like "Bass Troy," "Subwoofer Excursion Test," and "Techno Bass." I got the songs from someone on Head-Fi, I think, but I don't know who it might have been.

Those sound like Bass Mechanik songs. I think I remember a "subwoofer excursion test" track from them.

Yeah, I know, but I'm looking for a specific set of songs. There's tons of these songs, but there was a group of six or so songs that I really liked.

yeah, look for some bass mechanik. standard techno stuff with pumped up lows and freq tests.

also, there are several tracks like "thx subwoofer test" or something floating around p2p, those are good as well.

They sound good in my car with a sub. I don't know about 'illegal', unless you mean that playing them will attract the cops for noise ordinances, but they all hit hard:

Bass Mekanik - Nightbass --This one sounds like an actual song, not a test.
