Since I work for Ikea, I can give a few details.

The unassembled car comes in nine 9'x3'x1' flimsy flat cardboard boxes. Most people take them home on their roof-rack.

It comes with one tool:

There are no written instructions--only pictures. Here's the manual's first page:

my neighbor built Superlight R300 for track use. I've been begging him to see if I can tag along for day at the tracks, but he won't let me

. Since it's not road legal here, I haven't seen it driving around anywhere yet.
