  Anyone compared it to DX50?

I would like to read some comparison too. Especially with the upgraded 770C

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any specific experiences with the 770C with classical music. Also, I was planning on using the Sennheiser HD598s with the 770C. Would I need an amp to power the HD598?

When rockbox will come for this I'll be the happiest man alive.......
I'm just dreaming but because the original 770 is discontinued, maybe they will release the source code for the firmware, for us to build from source (I know, I'm crazy :))))

Just wanted to say that I received my upgraded 770 c yesterday in the mail.  I'm liking the sound much greater in comparison to my 160gb Ipod Classic.  It pairs great with the TTPOD T1, in my opinion.  I just wish the UI and the file system was a little better.  Hopefully they will figure somethings out and include it in a firmware update at some point.  Or Rockbox it like editheraven mentioned above.

Joined the massdrop for the 770C because having two headphone outs with different hardware sound signatures seems innovative. Bummed about no playlist features, and I'm surprised it isn't standard on every DAP made.Even my Kogan can do 5 playlists.

You can make a playlist with the new 770C, but only by using songs on the internal memory...

Better than nothing. Just have to make it work somehow. If it doesn't well for me I'll give the X1 a try

finally after "burn" my dunu dn2000 sounds fine with them. I use the default grey tips with the red rings - mids are superb, smooth and pleasant. imaging less sardine can like.

I used the silver rings before for some time, the smoothness extended the highs as well but became quite grating with a greater tendency for sibilance.

so this player have me trouble pairing with the dunu but they are definitely pleasant!
