I'm thinking of getting iGrado for my new iPod. What do you think?
Does it worth ? feedback ?

If you want this kind of headphones, those are surely worth trying.
iGrado are concidered the best headphones in theirs type by Grado fans and one of the best by almost all the others.
But as always, I would strongly recommend trying a pair before buying.

I purchased iGrado's about six months ago. I use them primarily when I walk in the mornings. They are paired with a Sansa e280 and a Headamp AE-2. IMO they sound comparable to the SR-60's and are way ahead of the Senn PMX-200 which I also own.

If you do, know that the pads destroy the grado signature sound.

The pads are very dense, so they block a lot of high frequency sound.

They attenuate the highs and make the bass very boomy. You need to mod the pads to let some detail through.

i've got a friend who loves them, they don't sound all that different than SR-60's. i don't know whether he's got quarter holed reverse HD414's or comfies on them, but they seem good.

Excellent choice. Or you could buy a pair of SR-60s. Same drivers. Different pads. I'd roll with the iGrado. Enjoy.

I got the iGrados for my girlfriend. I lost my other portable phones so for a couple weeks I kept stealing them and she got really pissed off. I love those things. To be honest they sound better than HD25-1 by a pretty fair margin IMHO. They are open and leak sound but if you're just walking around on the street to and from somewhere you'll be fine.
