None of their above appointment information works ; so I submitted a support ticket (#289578) and will see if that works. Maybe Mr. Bubbahyde can help?

Well, I had to send my ZS to Yorktown in the US for the update years ago.

If I was going to AXPONA and needed an update this would be a great service.

I recently purchased a Zen Stream. I am using it in my main system, but it will be relocated to a secondary system when my new server/streamer arrives. I use it via DLNA and BubbleUPnP, with volume controlled by my exaSound DAC, because that is how it sounds best. I tested the Zen with a Modius DAC and UPnP. The power amps were turned off, in case of runaway level control. The app showed 100%, so I reduced the level to 30% and turned on an amp. OUCH, volume was still at 100%. Luckily nothing blew before I managed to turn off the amp.

The secondary system I will move the Zen Stream to uses an iFi nano iOne DAC. Like the Modius, the iOne has no capability to control volume levels. I would like to use BubbleUPnP for this setup, but I am deeply worried about a repeat of runaway volume. Did the Zen/Modius misbehave in DLNA mode because the DAC can't control level? Or maybe I need to select All-In-One mode for level control?

I am deeply worried about a repeat of runaway volume. Did the Zen/Modius misbehave in DLNA mode because the DAC can't control level? Or maybe I need to select All-In-One mode for level control?

I did further testing and have the answer. BubbleUPnP cannot control level in DLNA mode. The level indicator moves as though volume is changing, but the ZS output remains at 100%. AIO mode allows proper level control.

Not to ask a marketing question but is there a chance that software/firmware may be made available for this eventuality?
