Hello, I have just got my streamer. Is it plug and play ? Just feed it wih 9 V ? I have Mconnect.lite installed.

I wouldn't say plug and play there is some initial setup, just follow this video and you should be fine...

Technically weeks ago on my second unit

But this morning on my other one, no issues

Give it time!!! It may look like no progress for a couples minutes but it will finish.

Tidal Connect seems to be working. I've tried it, seemed fine, and then I switched to Roon Only Mode.

Apologies if this is somewhere in the forum, tried a few searches, difficult to zero in

I currently have a Allo USBridge running moode. I have an attached NAS that has 15 TB or more of flac files and growing. The underlying music app - MPD - is starting to choke on the size and takes 15 to 20 minutes when restarted to stop spinning and catch up. It also sometimes freezes for minutes at a time when clicking different options on the moode user interface

I am strongly considering an iFi Zen Stream and see that under the covers it uses a version of Volumio. Will I have the same issues with such a large library?

Updated both of my Zen's. No hiccups and Tidal works fine. I had to power off and back on for one of them but then Tidal connected ok.

Roon will be set at defaults when update is done, you need to redo the Roon settings.

Does the update remove the custom Player Name like the last one?

I had my issues with AirPlay stability falling off last time as well, so still on edge...everything is solid right now
