Thanks Ive tried setting up using.both wifi.and lan cable however keep.getting this loading page on both android and apple zen stream app after entering my wifi password and getting the connection sucessful pop.up.message in the yellow box...it just.keeps.loading and nothing.happens and I.cant comnect.to the player

Reset as per your 1st post in this thread, using the pin hole at the rear. After reset both lights turned red and unit shut down itself after few minutes. I plugged lan cable and the left light turns white and right light turns green...the app just hangs after this, same issie happens when I use wifi to setup..just at the final stage it hangs

I wonder if possibly something went wrong in the reset.

The first thing is to reset your entire home network, including modems and routers. Do this through the power-off method, not a soft reset, to clear everything. If this doesn't allow you access through your browser at http://ifi.local/settings, then you may need to do a refresh.

Do you have a Windows PC?

Ok will try off n off home network and yes have a windows n macbook too

Ok so lets have you do a refresh of the Zen Stream to see if this fixes the issues you are having, this does require the use of the Windows PC

Download and follow the instructions for the refresh tool from this link.

Hi Ive done alll as per innstructions to refresh the Zen, however after reset and switching it on the RK Dev tool could not find the device. Repeated several times but still No Devices found. connection between usb C Zen and A PC is connected..is therr a particular USB.port on thr PC that needsnto be connected to for this? Or should thr RK Dev tool be run from a specific folder? Thanks

No there is no specific port or folder, I rand mine right from the downloads folder.

I recommend trying different USB cables as I have found a few that didn't work in my collection, I wonder if I may have charging type cables mixed in

A tip is when holding the button on the back turn the power on and immediately release per the instructions do not hold.

If this doesn't result in success, I recommend starting a support ticket as It may need repairing.

Also followed the setup video using lan connection saved all settings using http:ifi local settings, Including audio output default to usb xmos 2.0 ie my dac. Was able to stream tidal spotify etc no issues. I tried power off and on the zen stream again however it didnt detect my dac. Its an old model dac, teddy pardo using xmos usb2.0 driver...so if I use a spdif connection it will auto detect? How do I report this dac.model to ifi support.

So when you select your network and ever your WiFi password that screen hangs? Try entering your password and if it hangs close app and reopen to check if connection was made.

Don't forget ZS just be in AIO mode 1 to access that menu...

All was working perfectly yesterday, however today both Tidal and Spotify cant detect IFI streamer.
Im using wired lan connection, have tried refreshing the network using the ifi local settings shortcut/app however still same issue , please help thanks.


Btw I can play internet radio via the ifi app meaning the ZS is properly connected to the network...
