Yes it can, you are able to power the ZEN DAC through your android phone. We wouldn't recommend this though as it can quickly drain the battery of your phone, so just keep an eye out :)

Hi to all,
I want your help, i connect the zen dac with my android samsung tab s4 and i play mqa through tidal but zen dac's light remains green it doesnt change to magenda colour (as in my pc) in order to decode mqa. Is there a way to fix it?

Please make sure that your Tidal is set up correctly. It seems that audio stream sent from your smartphone to the ZEN DAC isn't MQA, which is what its green LED indicates.

Dear all, for those of you have experience with both the Zen Dac and Chord Mojo, is it worth the money to upgrade to Mojo? Apart from differences in sound signature, is the sound quality significantly better on the Mojo (subtle difference, or a big jump)? Many thanks.
