No static discharge. I tried several different sockets, all our grounded sockets, same effect in all, buzz sound if I touch the headphone cups.

Ifi's amp play better with high impedance headphones. Not sure about current hungry headphones. It shouldn't be a problem either way. I've used 25 ohm Ananda balanced and it sounded great. It's a good amp no matter what but it's a very good amp with high impedance balanced stuff like Sennheiser's or T1.2. I wonder if it works in class a mode with low impedance headphones.Hello! I ordered a balanced cable to connect my Fostex ТН900 to Zen Signature set HFM
But they scare me that I did it in vain! The output power of 6.3 is greater than that of the balanced output of 4.4. I made a mistake? Should I order a cable with a 6.3 connector?

EDIT: Hey everyone I seem to have fixed my problem. I had my sound settings set to the highest settings (32 Bit, 384000 Hz). When I lowered it to under 24 bit 192000, I was able to hear sound in all of the places that I had lost sound. To everyone else who might have this issue, try doing that.

Hi! In which class Zen dac working with Senn HD600? A, AB or D?
@iFi audio I have Zen Dac and Zen Can stack, when i connect them via 4.4mm balanced cable i get ground loop noise. Why is this happening ? It doesn't happen with single ended RCA connection. I thought balanced connection was immune to ground loop issues.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately i don't know how to check if cable is the problem but i saw another user with the same problem in another forum which makes me believe it's not the cable.I'm pretty sure that it's a class AB design, but I'd have to double-check this.
If I may ask, what sort of noise is it? And do you sense any static upon touching their enclosures? Also if possible, is there a way you could check whether your 4.4mm cable isn't the culprit? Thanks!

It's a constant buzz on the right channel and if i touch to enclosure i can also hear coil whine. RCA connection doesn't have this problem, i only hear noise floor with RCA cable, no odd noises. If i connect both cables (RCA and 4.4 BAL), buzz noise disappear as well.
Also volume knob makes unwanted noises too unless i touch to enclosure at the same time. Volume knob coil whine is irrelevant to BAL connection buzz.
1- 4.4 bal= constant buzz
2- RCA= clean, only noise floor audible with sensitive iems at high gains which is normal.
3- 4.4bal + RCA= clean again.
4- Volume knob makes coil whine and scratchy noises. Doesn't make coil whine if i touch to enclosure at the same time while adjusting the volume.
