Hello IFI Audio. At what point will delivered Zen DACs be able to be purchased with the up to date software/firmware? Beginning with what serial number will they have the latest and greatest?

Since the ZEN release we didn't release any new firmware, so what is loaded on all ZEN products is up to date.
@iFi audio - Anyway to use the balanced output with sensitive IEMs?
Power match doesn't seem to actually drop the gain by too much. Anything I'm missing?

such a shame, I really want to get the Zen dac but it doesn't have optical & coaxial inputs. I hope they also have a dedicated dac next time.

For the money it can't have everything, we did our best to optimize and include what most folks might want.

Watched the aforesaid video review and ordered my Zen DAC from Bloom Audio.
Excited for you to get it. Outstanding product.
Just to be clear, that video isn't mine. I merely shared it here for all to see. Anyway, currently I'm using my ifi Zen DAC more than my Chord Mojo. That probably says something about its SQ. I like the looks of the Zen DAC, the buttery-smooth feeling of that volume knob, the fact that it drives my low-sensitivity cans very well with PowerMatch on, TrueBass is very tastefully done and doesn't make everything boomy. I like that it runs on USB and via the Zen DAC, I'm now able to listen to MQA tracks on Tidal for not that much money. No internal battery to worry about. Just wish it has a dedicated on/off button. That is all. Hope this helps.
