I can't download the firmware. Is there an issue with the servers or website ? Zen Dac v1.

Just tried to download the firmware and had no issues. Perhaps you've missed typing in your ZEN DAC's serial number?

When i select the product, nothing happens. I can't access that page where you type serial number. Support page also gives an error:

Hi guys, a IFI Zen Dac V2 + Zen would work well with the hifiman arya v2 contected with the 4.4 balanced cable?

From the feedback we got thus far about Arya and our ZEN stack, it's a nice match considering the price. These cans aren't easy to drive though, so maybe other folks have some extra comments. Thanks!

I use three DACs under Windows 10 with the Tidal app: iFi Zen v2, Cambridge Audio Dacmagic 100 and Topping E30ii. If the iFi Zen v2 is connected to the PC, then Tidal does not do the first MQA unfold and the PC sends 44kHz or 48kHz stream to any of the other two DACs (same on USB or Optical). I am using Exclusive mode for every DACs and obviously setting the MQA passthrough only for the iFi, the other two not being being MQA decoders or renderers. If I unplug the iFi DAC, the other two DACs are not distubing each other and I can switch between them without a problem, enjoying 88/96kHz MQA music. (The first MQA unfold results in 88khz and 96khz streams to the DACs). I was wondering if the Tidal app locks something (MQA passthrough) if an MQA decoder connected even if it is not set as output. I did not have similar problems while using a rederer, such as iBasso DC05.
Anybody else has similar issues?

Okay, I have had my Zen Dac for 5 months now, running strictly off USB. Dug out an unused 5-volt power adaptor and plugged in, and WOW, what a noticeable change. Improved instrument separation, clarity, and dynamics. I'm letting my Fidelio X2 slap my face to music right now and I can't quit. U2, Tears For Fears, Smithereens, Little Feat, Wolf Alice, ...it ALL sounds MUCH better. Gonna move on to the DEVA later today. Sunday - Fun Day - Music Day. Thanks iFi for such a wonderful DAC.
May I ask what’s the specs of the power adaptor you using? V and ampere. :)

A sneaky peak inside iFi HQ and what makes us tick.

Back in the middle of the heatwave here in the UK, we invited the guys from Soundstage! Canada across to see the UK HQ in action (and for fish and chips too, of course).

It’s pretty much the first time we’ve done anything like this so we so weren’t sure what to expect or how it would turn out! All in all, it was great fun and a pleasure to do. Vince and Miles have become YouTube stars and we couldn’t have had a better time with Doug and his team. A huge thank you to them for spending the time with us.

We loved it. And we hope you do too.

So I've added a zen dac V2 to my setup along with power supply. One issue though, when I disconnected the usb the unit stays powered on, I presumed it would turn of, will it be a case of unplugging every time?

There is not "off" button for the Zen DAC, so it will always be on. You could try a smart plug, but that could add potential for noise (I've never tried it).

Yeah that's what I've done for now,

It only powers on when I plug the USB into the phone, but when I remove it stays on.
If I get noise I'll just unplug every night lol

So annoying that there's alway a negative with stuff.

I replaced my Zen Dac V2 with the new Zen One Signature Dac, it has a dedicated on-off button and comes with IPower 2
